If a hearty roast is on the menu this festive season then look no further than our fresh Vegan Gravy with Red Miso. A delicious stock of carrots, celery, onion and garlic with an added umami hit of fresh miso, it’s the perfect gravy to accompany any winter dish. Like everything we make it’s certified organic, vegan and gluten-free with no added sugar.
Unlike most gravies, you’ll find this one in the chilled aisle as it contains a touch of our fresh unpasteurised miso paste. Made in the Nagano region at the base of the Central Alps in Japan, miso is known to lower cholesterol and blood pressure, support digestion and strengthen the immune system, while also being an excellent source of B vitamins.
We’re all about creating great tasting food that is not only good for you but good for the planet too. A necessity for any plant-based plate we like to think that our vegan gravy is no exception. Made in small batches in our Devon kitchen, this gravy is low in fat and at just 28 calories per 100g portion it’s virtually guilt-free! Great with heaps of roasted veggies, a dollop of mashed potato or a vegan mushroom wellington, simply heat and eat for one less worry on the big day.
